Call or book: two ways to reach us
The shop phone and the online form both land with the people who run the work. Morning requests, Monday through Saturday, can usually get a technician out the same day.
- $85 diagnostic, included in the repair
- Same-day visits Mon–Sat
- 5.0 on Google
Call (425) 570-9520
A phone call is the quickest way onto the day's schedule. Tell us what the appliance or system is doing, roughly how old it is and where you live. We'll offer a time window, and if it's still morning, that window is usually today.
Book online
The booking form asks for your name, phone number, ZIP code and street address, the make and model number if you have it, and a short description of the problem. Requests that come in this way get up to $18 off the repair. Once the form arrives, we call you back to confirm a time window; the appointment is set during that call.
Have the model number ready
Before you call or fill in the form, find the model and serial tag and note any error code on the display. Read the model number to us on the phone, or type it into the make and model field of the booking form, along with your ZIP code and a sentence about the problem. With the model number in hand, the technician can check parts before leaving the shop.
Where to find the tag:
- Refrigerator: inside the fresh-food section, on a side wall or the ceiling.
- Washer: under the lid or around the door opening.
- Dryer: inside the door frame.
- Range or oven: behind the storage drawer or around the oven door frame.
- Dishwasher: along the edge of the door or the tub frame.
- Furnace or air handler: on the inside of the access door; the outdoor unit carries a plate on its side.
Where the shop is
Larch HVAC & Appliance, 6302 St Albion Way, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043, beside I-5 near Town Center. We come to you: the area runs from Everett and Mukilteo down to north Seattle and across to Woodinville and north Kirkland, about 30 minutes from the shop in any direction, with no charge for distance.
If you smell gas
Don't call us first. Get everyone out of the house without touching light switches or appliances, then phone Puget Sound Energy at 1-888-225-5773, or 911, from outside. When the utility has made the house safe, we can repair the furnace, range or dryer that caused the problem.
Common questions
What if the problem starts on a Sunday or in the evening?
The phone is answered Monday through Saturday during the hours listed on this site. Outside them, the booking form still takes your request, including the make and model number and a description of the problem. We read it when the shop opens and call you back to agree on a window. A request already waiting for us in the morning stands a good chance of a same-day visit.
What happens after I send the online form?
We read the request, then call the number you gave to confirm a time window and ask about anything the form didn't cover. The booking is set once we've spoken with you. Requests made online carry up to $18 off the repair, and that saving shows on the written estimate.
Do you need the model number before you come?
It helps but isn't required, since the technician reads the tag on arrival anyway. Having it ahead of time lets us check whether the likely part is already on the van. For built-ins, older furnaces and commercial units especially, that can save a second trip to pick up a part.
Can I book a repair for a rental or a relative's house?
Yes. Give us the service address, the name and number of whoever will let the technician in, and the name of the person who will approve the price. The $85 diagnostic is included in the repair if they approve it, and the written estimate goes to whoever makes that call.
